When Joe Sunder's attack slammed off the floor and flew into the South Gym crowd Saturday night, the resulting kill didn't just conclude a strong effort for the outside hitter.

The No. 9 Penn State men's volleyball team defeated Canada's top-ranked team, Laval, 3-1 (19-30, 30-25, 30-23, 30-23) in an exhibition match for the second night in a row.
