WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- After coaching the entirety of Penn State's win against Purdue from the press box, an achy Joe Paterno said he will decide on a week-by-week basis where he will coach.
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Anthony Scirrotto, with an ice pack covering his bruised right shoulder, took a seat after Penn State's latest win.
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Swinging his helmet by his side as he walked off the field Saturday, Daryll Clark looked like a man without a care in the world -- no problems to deal with, no decisions to make.

Joe Paterno saw Joe Tiller -- then the Big Ten's newest coach -- on the field before Penn State played Purdue 11 years ago and sought answers.
Purdue coach Joe Tiller doesn't try to disguise the secrets of his spread offense. He's going to throw the ball, a lot, regardless of what the defense throws back at him.
Every athlete says it. Every coach preaches it.
This time next year, Purdue head coach Joe Tiller will most likely be standing along a stream worrying more about trying to land a cutthroat trout than finding a way to pick apart the Penn State defense.

A hamstring injury kept Jordan Norwood off the field last Saturday against Illinois and might prevent him from playing this weekend when No. 6 Penn State travels to West Lafayette, Ind., to play Purdue.
Penn State finished 18-8 the past two seasons, winning bowl games over Tennessee and Texas A&M.
There was still something absent, though, quarterback Daryll Clark said.
Namely, leadership on both offense and defense.

From the moment he stepped off the plain, blue bus outside the south entrance to Beaver Stadium, Daryll Clark was focused and prepared.
Aaron Maybin and Josh Gaines jumped around in celebration as Juice Williams dragged himself up off the Beaver Stadium grass. The man they were chestbumping had just dumped Williams on his butt.
